The Player Pyramid

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the football coaching services provided by Charlie Croydon trading as The Player Pyramid (“we”, “our”, “us”).

By booking, attending or participating in any coaching session or service provided by The Player Pyramid, all players, clients and parents/guardians agree to these Terms.

3. Coaching Services

The Player Pyramid provides football coaching services including:

  • One-to-one coaching sessions

  • Small group coaching sessions

  • Football development training

  • Technical coaching sessions

All sessions are subject to availability.

We reserve the right to refuse or terminate coaching services where necessary for safety, safeguarding, behavioural or operational reasons.

4. Player Responsibilities

Players are expected to:

  • Arrive on time for sessions

  • Wear suitable football clothing and footwear

  • Bring suitable equipment and water

  • Behave respectfully towards coaches and others

  • Follow all coaching and safety instructions

Unsafe, abusive or disruptive behaviour may result in removal from sessions without refund.

5. Parent and Guardian Responsibilities

Parents or guardians of players under the age of 18 are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate registration and emergency contact information

  • Informing coaches of any injuries, medical conditions or health concerns

  • Ensuring players are dropped off and collected safely and on time

  • Maintaining appropriate communication regarding attendance and welfare

6. Medical and Health Information

Players and parents/guardians must disclose any medical conditions, injuries, allergies or health concerns relevant to participation in football coaching activities.

Participation in football coaching involves physical activity and carries a risk of injury. By participating, players and parents/guardians acknowledge and accept these risks.

The Player Pyramid accepts no responsibility for injuries sustained during normal participation except where caused by proven negligence.

7. Payments

Payments for coaching services may be made via:

  • Bank transfer

  • Cash

Payment terms may vary depending on the coaching service or package agreed.

Sessions may not be confirmed until payment has been received.

The Player Pyramid reserves the right to suspend future bookings where payments remain outstanding.

8. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations, rescheduling and refunds are governed by the separate Cancellation Policy of The Player Pyramid.

The Player Pyramid reserves the right to cancel or reschedule sessions due to:

  • Severe weather

  • Illness

  • Unsafe training conditions

  • Facility or venue issues

  • Circumstances outside of reasonable control

Where possible, replacement sessions or credits may be offered.

9. Photography and Video

Photos or videos may occasionally be taken during coaching sessions for:

  • Coaching analysis

  • Safeguarding purposes

  • Promotional or social media use

Where appropriate, parental or participant consent will be obtained before any images or videos are used publicly.

Parents, guardians or participants may request that images featuring them or their child are not used for promotional purposes.

10. Safeguarding

The Player Pyramid is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful and positive environment for all participants.

Any safeguarding concerns or inappropriate behaviour may be reported to relevant authorities where necessary.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Player Pyramid shall not be liable for:

  • Loss or damage to personal belongings

  • Injuries arising from normal participation in football activities

  • Indirect or consequential losses

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or any liability that cannot legally be excluded under UK law.

12. Data Protection

Personal information is handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy of The Player Pyramid.

By using our services, clients agree to the collection and use of information as outlined in the Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to Services or Terms

The Player Pyramid reserves the right to update these Terms or modify services at any time.

Updated Terms will be made available through our website or provided directly to clients where appropriate.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
